Welcome to the Randolph County Levee Districts

Where the maintenance of an adequate levee district is necessary to the protection of people and the lands immediately behind it, but also the entire basin, a levee district may be formed. The cost of the levees may be assessed to the areas immediately protected and also to the remainder of the area that may be flooded. Randolph County has five Drainage and Levee Districts. One district is shared with Monroe County. The appointed District Commissioners are charged with the organization and maintenance of their districts. The combined districts meet twice each year in Monroe or Randolph County. Here are the districts and their commissioners.
